Each woman out there wants to define her beautiful appearance, this is especially true when she thinks about her face. Each young girl out there likes to play with makeup at one time or another. Makeup has made many women look pretty, but it has to be applied right to accomplish this. There are numerous women that do not understand how put makeup on in the right manner. So to teach the proper manner of applying makeup so that you get the most from your efforts, there are some expert tips listed below.

Tips for Applying Blush

Choose either the cream or gel form of a blush in place of the powder blush, this causes an reflective type action that gives you a natural pink (possibly reddish pink) or peach tone. Cream or gel is much more transparent in nature than powder is and diffuses the light better on the face. Apply it to the cheekbone and then feather up to just below the eye area, this helps brighten your face in reddish pink, pinkish, or peach tones.

Tips for Polished Looking Nails

To enhance the look of your nails you must first file them in a somewhat squarish shape. Then with a buffer and maybe some buffing cream buff your nails to a shine, then wash your nails if you have used buffing cream. Then you can apply a thin coat of a nail polish that is clear. Then when the polish has dried apply some cuticle oil to the nails and apply hand cream to your hands. In a mere matter of minutes your hands will be revitalized and your nails will be gorgeous.

Tips for Polishing Nails

When polishing nails you may get some on your cuticles, if this happens, place your finger in some warm water, and then remove the extra polish with your finger.

Tips for Sharpening Pencils

When you need to sharpen your lip liner, eyebrow, or eyeliner pencils, you need to first place them in a freezer for about 10 minutes. This will make the pencil lead harder and easier to sharpen without it breaking.

Tips for Eyebrows

Today’s trend is to have a natural, clean shaped brow, and it should not look carved out. If there are some blank spots then you can fill those in with an eyebrow definer or pencil.

Tips for Eyeliner

You can always use just a dark eye shadow for eyeliner if you choose. Apply with a flat thin makeup brush that is made just for this purpose, you will need to dampen the brush first and then pickup some dark eye shadow, then you apply it by brushing it just on the edge of your eyelid. Make sure to line the whole distance of the edge of your eyelid. Then you can also use the same color in the crease of the eyelid. Then with a contrasting color shadow the voided area in between. Above the crease put on a lighter shade.

Some More Tips for Eyeliner

There are those women that may have recessed areas on the eyes, these types of eyes are more easily lined with liquid eyeliner in place of the pencil type. The one large benefit to liquid liner is that it is not so easy to fade, like the eyeliner pencil does. The eyeliner pencil can smudge and make a mess and the liquid liner stays true to color and does not smudge.

Tips for Mascara

To keep your mascara from discoloring you eyes and flaking off, which will ruin your makeup, apply mascara to your eyelashes on your upper lid only using only a light layer. Then take a mascara brush to the lashes to remove any excess mascara, this will do away with any clumping.

Tips for Curling Eyelashes

Gently heat your eyelash curler with your hairdryer, make sure to do this only for a few minutes though. Be certain that the curler is not too hot before applying to your lashes. The curl produced with the heat will last much longer than curling lashes the standard way.

Tips for Buying Foundation or Concealer

When you are choosing a foundation or a concealer, it is advisable to test the color maybe on your wrist to see what it looks like on. The skin on your wrist shows the color better so that you can really what it will be like placed on your facial area.

Tips for Foundation

Before applying your foundation place concealer on the dark circles under your eyes if need be. You can extend your foundation by adding just a tad of moisturizer to it, this will create a unique sheen when applied to the face.

Now put on your foundation after doing the concealer. The you can start putting on the eye makeup including the eyeliner and mascara, this way the concealer and foundation will not interfere and your makeup will be neater.

All About Lips

When your are going to use a matte type lipstick, if you apply some lip balm on them first this will keep the lips from drying out. This can be done before you do your eye makeup, so that the lip balm has a chance to soak in, and soften the lips, before you applying your shade of matte lipstick. When the lips are nice and soft your lipstick goes on easier too.

A lot of cultures consider a woman’s lips as a symbol of youth and beauty. But beautiful lips can show signs of physical aging if we are not careful. Is it no wonder that most women long to have full-looking lips that just call out to be kissed, this helps not only increase their beauty, but also the woman’s self confidence. The fullness of the lips can diminish through aging, and also with aging come lines and wrinkles surrounding the lip area.

There are many methods of attaining your full lips, and through these methods you can also keep the wrinkles and lines to a minimum around the lip area, as to not show your age so much.

There are many procedures that can be used to plump up or make the lips look fuller. There are cosmetics for the care of the facial skin including the lips and then there is surgery that can augment the lips through making them fuller. This cosmetic surgery is called lip augmentation. This can include things such as injecting what they call fillers or even implanting forms to accentuate the lips.

These procedures are effective through shaping the lips sometimes using the chemicals to do so. There are varying levels of success with these procedures.

Many people prefer the method of injecting a filler into the lips to attain more volume in the lips. This is still considered a surgical method.

Filler material can be manufactured from synthetic or natural ingredients, and are utilized to make the lips look fuller. The fillers are injected into the skin and are usually effective for about 3 to 6 months after the initial injection. You do not get permanent results through this method though and it does have some risk of complication. The complications that are normal are such things as: allergic reaction, clotting, infections, being too solid, dead or numb feeling, swelling, and emergence grating.

For a more permanent method there are implants that can be used. These implants are specially shaped strips that are inserted right into the lips through a special opening made in the lips. Since the material the implants are made of is not absorbed by the skin, these implants are permanent, compared to the injection of fillers. The same kind of complications can happen as in the filler injections, but the big plus with implants is the fact that they can be removed if your body shows signs of rejection.

Today there are some cosmetics that are made to fill out the lips. These cosmetics usually have collagen in them, and you either apply the product direct to the lips, or it can also come in the way of lipsticks that plump. Of course this is only a temporary measure and only last while the lipstick is on the lips. There are some other products out there that boast about having a cumulative effect on the lips, or the longer they are used the more the lips shape is naturally affected.

This product has its advantages, as far as there is no recoup time to be done due to surgery. The cost of this method is much less expensive than that of cosmetic surgery.

According to the tribe of Maya belief, chocolate is the food of gods. The original taste of cacao actually is bitter as a result of the alkaloid content, but after going through the process, it produced a chocolate as a preferred food of many people. Cacao contain 31% fat, 14% carbohydrate and 9% protein.
In the United States consuming chocolate only contribute 1% of total fat intake as stated by the National Food Consumption Survey (1987-1998). This amount is relatively small, especially when compared with the contribution of meat (30%), cereal (22%), and milk (20%). Fat in the chocolate, cocoa butter is often called, mostly structured by saturated fat (60%) especially stearate.
In research, they found that the consumption of chocolate fat result in total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol lower than the consumption of butter or beef fat. So even though they have the same contains of saturated fat but it was produced the different cholesterol effect. The high content of stearate in chocolate is presumed as the cause of why chocolate fat is not as bad as animal fat. It has been well known that stearate is neutral fatty acid that will not trigger blood cholesterol. This is because stearate was slowly digested by the body and we also absorbed less.
Chocolates also contain katekin which are strong antioxidants. One of the functions of antioxidants is to prevent earlier aging that can occur due to pollution or radiation. Katekin also found in tea as though the amount is not as high as chocolate. In addition, chocolate also contains theobromine and caffeine. Both the substance of these has been known as giving awakened effect for people who consumed. There is no evidence that chocolate cause pimple. Chocolate also can not be said as the main cause of dental plaque due to the emergence of dental plaque can also occur in people who consume regular meals daily. Need to be wary, especially for people who are vulnerable suffer kidney stones. 100 g chocolate consumption will increase three-fold excression oxalat and calcium. Therefore, healthy tips that can be recommended is a drink of water after eating lots of chocolate. (Adapted from DoInHealth&Beauty)

UNDERSTANDING AND TREATING DIARRHEA DEHYDRATION AMONG CHILDREN

Diseases that are related to the gastrointestinal tract, especially diarrhea, are health problems that often attack young children. Especially when you are traveling, be alert.

Because their immune systems are still extremely underdeveloped compared to an adults, babies and very young children have a high risk of being coming down with diarrhea and other diseases that originate through food and drink. There is a lot of contact from their hands to their mouths and germs can spread this way as well.

What Symptoms Should I Look For?

Parents need to be alert and watch for changes in their children’s condition. Bloody stool, high fever that is over 38.5°C or 101.5°F, vomiting and mild to serious dehydration are all signs that you need to seek immediate emergency medical aid.

How Do I Prevent It?

If your baby is still very young, you’ll find that keeping them to breastmilk is the ideal way to make sure that they have less problems with infections. Always make sure that you use purified water when you are preparing your children’s food, whether it is for making ice cubes, brushing their teeth and mixing into their formula food or milk.

Always make sure that you take special pains when it comes to cleaning your baby’s pacifier and teething ring. If they have fallen on the floor, they will be less clean and they may transfer germs very easily. A wet tissue fluid or an alcohol based santizer can substitute for disinfectant equipment, though always keep in mind the fact that alcohol does not remove organic material. Make sure that you wash the pacifier, teething ring, or even any toy that you know has been on the floor very thoroughly with soap and water.

Remember that the food that your baby consumes needs to be as thoroughly cleansed and denatured as possible. If you give your baby dairy products, make sure that they have been thoroughly pasteurized, and if you give them fruits and vegetables, always make sure that they are peeled or at least scrubbed thoroughly. Cook any foods thoroughly and make sure that things like fish, eggs and meat are prepared and then eaten immediately

How Do I Treat Dehydration?

When your child has been affected by diarrhea, remember that vomiting is causing dehydration. In addition to this, fever and an increased body temperature can quicken the loss of fluid in the child’s body, and this can speed dehydration as well.

Remember that one solution that you may find is the sports drink at the store. Sports drinks are meant to replace electrolytes in the body and to make sure that the body will be able to get all the use out of the water. If your child has been sweating, this may be something that he or she will need.

Remember that the electrolyte solution is predominantly recommended for dehydration. In many cases, children do like the taste of it, and after drinking it, they often feel much better. After the solution has been dissolved, remember that it should be drunk within twelve hours, or twenty four hours if it has been stored in the refrigerator. Take some time to consider what kind of good this solution can do for you

What Diet Changes Can I Make?

If your child has been stricken with diarrhea, you’ll find that some changes need to be made to their diet. The changes that you need to make are not large and they are certainly healthy.

If your very young baby has diarrhea, you’ll find that breastfeeding is something that should still take place. If they baby is on milk formula, this can be used to keep the baby hydrated and to make sure that they are still feeling good. They need the comfort and familiarity that they have known if they are going to feel comfortable about getting healthier, and in this case, there is no reason to deny them.

Remember that you should take out food that contain a lot of simple sugars. This includes things like heavy apple juice, gelatin, cereals that have been frosted with sugar and soft drinks. This is something that can make the diarrhea much worse.

Similarly, make sure that you cut out foods that have a high fat content in them, at least for a little while.

When a child has diarrhea, you’ll find that starches, plain cereals, yogurt, fruits and vegetables are the best options that you have when it comes to helping them get better.

Consider the BRAT diet, which refers to feeding the child Bananas, Rice, Apple sauce, and Toast, which is highly recommended for situations like this one. It is easy to prepare and to remember.

Also remember, though, that a strict diet like this one is not recommended over the long term because it can cause malnutrition.
